The Fort Stockton basketball team concluded their season with a 64-33 victory over Pecos at home on Feb. 15 in a rescheduled game from Tuesday due to high winds in the Pecos area.

Freshman sensation Diego Ronquillo led the Panthers with 15 points and senior Ethan Acosta, who led the Panthers in scoring during district play, scored 11 points, including a trio of 3-pointers.

The Panthers held a 28-23 lead at halftime after leading nearly the entire first half before outscoring Pecos 19-5 in the third quarter, sealing the victory.

Fort Stockton ended their season in fifth place in their district with a 2-8 record in district play and a 13-18 record overall under second year head coach Zack Roberson.
