Series of unfortunate events leads to Prowler volleyball loss

The loss moves the Prowlers record to 1-3 in district play.

Amaya Urias and Garcia each recorded one block.

“We played a great few sets, but were unsuccessful in getting over the hump of executing a solid offense,” assistant coach Sera Ramirez said.
Statistical leaders for the game include Priscilla Trevino with 15 kills and Jocelynn Arcides with seven kills, four digs and two aces.
The freshman played a hard fought three-set match, but were unable to secure a victory, as Monahans pulled off the 25-20, 18-25, 25-21 win.
The Prowlers will head back to the drawing board and gear up for their first home district game on Saturday, Oct. 8 against Andrews. Games are set to begin at 11 a.m. with varsity taking the court at noon.
