The Fort Stockton ISD administrative staff named their students of the month for August at the district’s regular board meeting on Aug. 29. One student from each campus was selected for their superior performance in the classroom, academic leadership abilities, and all-around qualities as a student.

The students that were selected were introduced by their principals at their respective campuses at the meeting in front of the school board, superintendent, and those in attendance.

Awards that students received included a certificate from the district, a gift card to Mesquite Tree Gifts, Ice Cream & Coffee Shop, as well as a $10 gift certificate to Panther Pictures – the movie theatre at the Fort Stockton Convention Center.

The students selected for the month of August included Giselle Lujan (Apache), Taylee Gregory (Alamo), Zoie Ramirez (Intermediate), Natalee Jaimes (Middle School), and Krystian Rodriguez (High School, not pictured).
