Fort Stockton’s annual Independence Day firework show at Rooney Park on July 4 proved to be amongst the best in West Texas once again this year. Fort Stockton Mayor Chris Alexander and Kevin DeHaven picked up the fireworks for this past Monday’s show from Dallas and spent numerous hours wiring/preparing for the Fourth of July event.
