Josue “Saul” Cadena, 60, of Fort Stockton, Texas, passed away on Sept. 5, 2021, in Temple, Texas.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021, from noon-8 p.m. at Eternity Funeral Home Chapel.

Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, Sept. 10, 2021, at 10 a.m. at Eternity Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Alvaro Navarrette officiating. Burial will follow at East Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are under Eternity Funeral Home.

Josue was born on April 20, 1961, in La Flor, Durango, Mexico, to Pablo Cadena and Manuela De La Cerda Cadena. He married Dora Primera on Sept. 21, 1985, in Fort Stockton. Josue was a God-fearing man, hardworking and dedicated to his family. He loved working with autos, and worked for Remie’s Body Shop.

He was preceded in death by his parents Pablo Cadena and Manuel De La Cerda Cadena.

Josue is survived by his wife Dora Primera Cadena; son Josh (Sabrina) Cadena; daughter Ashley Cadena; brothers Alejandro Cadena, Manuel Cadena, and Gabriel Cadena; sisters Nemisa DeAnda, Celsa Cadena, Rebecca Vazquez, Ruth Mendoza, and Ester Monarrez; and grandchildren Andrew Gonzalez, AJ Cadena, and Kaia Rae Cadena.
