The Historic Fort Stockton Living History Unit and the Pecos River Gang were recognized during the annual Historic Fort Summer Camp on Tuesday June 16, 2026. Bob Hayter led the campers to say the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of The United States and also presented the commemorative 250 US flag from the Pecos County Historical Commission to The Historic Fort Stockton Living History Unit.

Area Students Named to Angelo State University Spring 2026 Dean’s List

Several local scholars have earned a spot on the Angelo State University Dean’s List for the spring 2026 semester, the university recently announced. This prestigious academic designation recognizes full-time undergraduate students who have demonstrated exceptional academic dedication by maintaining a grade point average of 3.25 or better on a 4.0 scale.

FSCT Paisano Players at TNT Youth Conference

Zachary Gray and Eli Schoenfeldt, members of Fort Stockton Community Theatre’s Paisano Players youth troupe, recently attended Theatre Network of Texas’ (TNT) 30th annual Youth Conference in Paris, TX. Following their ensemble performances in FSCT’s mainstage production, The Odd Couple, Zach and Eli made their way across the state to participate in the variety of youth-focused performing arts activities, competitions, and celebrations marking TNT’s 30-year commitment to youth outreach and development.
