Across the last two editions of this column, we have been exploring the appeal to Just War Theory toward the “justification” for a free people to go to war, which is by definition, state sponsored violence beyond a defense of the lives of those resisting ongoing armed invasion. America’s response to the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941 is the case par excellence. Given verified proof of Japan’s intention to wage war, the House of Representatives and Senate jointly approved the President’s proposal to declare war and funded a war effort.

Eric Dominguez Announced as New President of National Bank of Andrews

Dominguez is actively involved in his community and currently serves as President of the Andrews Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors, a position he has held since October 2019. His past service includes the Fort Stockton City Council, the Texas Bankers Association Board of Directors, and the TBA Bank Leadership Council, on which he served for a year as Chair.
