The Pecos County Senior Citizens Center will host its Thanksgiving Potluck dinner this Friday, Nov. 4, at noon at the Senior Citizens Center, located at 1010 W. 14th St. in Fort Stockton.

Turkey and sides will be provided and all attendees are asked to bring a side dish or a dessert.

The Senior Citizens Center is open to all Pecos County residents 50 and older, with dues running only $5 per year. New members are welcome to attend the dinner this Friday and sign up at the potluck.

Regular activities include regular Skip Bo games, potluck luncheons, Fourth of July hot dog suppers, Sing Alongs and other events throughout the year.

It’s a great way to get out of the house, meet new people and have a warm place to go during the chilly winter months. For younger folks, it’s a safe place for your parents, or grandparents, that keeps them active during the daylight hours.
