RFQ's to be awarded for new rec center at Tuesday's city council meeting
Listed below is the agenda for the Fort Stockton City Council meeting on Tuesday, June 22, starting at 5:30 p.m. at city hall.
Items of note include awarding a request for qualifications for the city’s new rec center. F.T. James Construction Inc./Alvidrez Architecture Inc., PSRBB Architects/Banes Construction, MW Builders, Inc. and Spartan Construction turned in bids.
Local attorney and business owner Albert Valadez is also requesting a permit for the sale of mixed drinks, beer & wine for a business located less than 300 ft. away from a Daycare Center and Church. The location specified is at 123 N. Main St. The request would be for the council to consider a variance of Chapter 4, Sec. 4-5 of the Fort Stockton Code of Ordinances.
