With the Thanksgiving holiday upon us, the Pecos County Senior Citizens Center will play host to a Thanksgiving potluck Friday, Nov. 17 at noon at the Senior Center, located, 1010 W. 14th Street in Fort Stockton.

Turkey along with dressing, deviled eggs, greenbean casserole, south Mississippi pear salad and drinks will be provided. All attendees are asked to please bring a side dish or a dessert of their own making.

The turkey is being donated by Oscar Gonzalez.

Because several folks plan to be out of town on Thanksgiving Day, this will be a good way to share a meal with friends and fellow seniors if you aren’t in town on the holiday.

The Pecos County Senior Citizens Center is open to all Pecos County residents who are 50 and older, with dues only $5 per year. New members are welcome to sign up at the Thanksgiving lunch.

There will be an annual member meeting before the pot-luck at 11:45 a.m.
