Officials, including the county judge, district and county clerk, county treasurer, two county commissioners, and four Pecos County Justice of the Peace’s were sworn in for their terms on Dec. 1 at the Pecos County Courthouse following their election to their positions during the Nov. 8 election.

Those sworn in were, from left to right: Dena Kennedy, Justice of the Peace Precinct 3; Robert Gonzalez, County Commissioner Precinct 2; Sonia Murphy, Pecos County Treasurer; Deborah Braden, Justice of the Peace Precinct 4; Donna Wooten, Justice of the Peace Precinct 6; Joe Shuster, Pecos County Judge; Nathan Reeves, County Commissioner Precinct 4; Liz Chapman, Pecos County Clerk; Rankin Mitchell, Justice of the Peace Precinct 1; Darla Cude, District Clerk.
