District 53 State Representative Andrew Murr held a meet and greet event at the Fort Stockton Convention Center on Feb. 1. The eighth-generation Texan had previously visited Fort Stockton in November and spoke with elected officials and stakeholders in the community. Murr was first elected in 2014 to represent District 53 in the Texas House of Representatives. The district will soon cover Pecos County after redistricting occurred this past year.
