A 34-year-old male was killed in a rollover accident on May 27 on FM 11 in Pecos County at mile marker 258.

Bobby Moss of McCamey was traveling north on FM 11 when he fell asleep at the wheel and overcorrected once the Ford F-150 left the roadway, causing the vehicle to roll according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Moss was not wearing a seatbelt when the accident occurred at 11:15 a.m. on Thursday.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash and Moss was the only occupant of the pickup.

Road conditions were dry and the weather was clear according to the report.

The speed limit on the highway where the crash occurred was 75 MPH.
