FSISD announces personnel changes

The Fort Stockton Independent School District provided information regarding personnel changes at their regular meeting on Dec. 13.

Robert Knight, the Fort Stockton Intermediate Assistant Principal, was listed as one of two retirements within the district for the month of December. Knight was awarded a plaque for 10 years of service at the district’s Christmas party on Dec. 16.

High school custodian Roberto Ramirez also retired this month.

Five new employments were listed, including two teacher aides, a custodian, and two food production staff members.

Veronica Sanchez moved from a food production staff member to an instructional aide at Alamo Elementary. Tanailee Cabrerra was hired as an instructional at Apache Elementary.

Elizabeth Gonzalez and Gabdaly Melendez were hired as food production staff employees.

Jose De La Cruz will replace Ramirez as a custodian at the high school.

Resignations included: Kiarah Melendez (instructional aide, Alamo), Natalie Monzon (social studies teacher, intermediate), Blanca Solis Alvarado (food production staff).

The district’s next school board meeting is scheduled on Jan. 24.
