The City of Fort Stockton is accepting applications for 10 city boards in the next four weeks.

Residents interested in being appointed to a board or boards may pick up an application at City Hall, located at 121 W. Second St. or may call 432-336-8525, Ext. 115 or e-mail nicantu@cityfs.net to request an application be mailed or e-mailed.

The deadline to submit an application is Aug. 31 before 5 p.m.

The city is accepting applications for the following boards: Animal Control Advisory Board, Cemetery Advisory Board, Fort Stockton Economic Development Corporation, Historical Landmark Commission, Housing Authority Board, Intergovernmental Recreation Board, Keep Historic Fort Stockton Beautiful Board, Planning & Zoning Commission, Substandard Building Committee, Tourism Advisory Board.
