The MSCS Ltd. general contracting company has started construction this week at the empty lot across from the Flying J Travel Center, also neighboring Pecos County Memorial Hospital.

The construction site will hold the future Allsup’s Convenience Store.

According to MSCS Superintendent Robert DeHart, the construction site will be drilling to place columns for the gas station canopy and pouring concrete by the end of the week.

When asked for a final completion date, DeHart said the project will take 140 days. DeHart added that mid-August is the target date for completion.
