The sounds of pounding feet and excited cheers will fill the air on Saturday, September 13, as the Barrio Fest 5K kicks off, offering a unique opportunity for individuals and families to connect with their heritage and community through the power of running. More than just a race, the Barrio Fest 5K is a vibrant celebration of culture, family, and community, breaking barriers and defying stereotypes along the way, united as a community known as Barrio Runners.

Pecos County Continues Push as Leader in Energy

The Pecos County Commissioners Court met in regular session Monday, July 14, addressing a range of issues including prospective energy advancements and administrative, technological, and intergovernmental matters in the Pecos County Courthouse. Calling quorum, Judge Joe Shuster welcomed newcomer Jerome Chavez as Pct 2’s commissioner before the Court approved meeting minutes for the previous month.
