FSISD administers over 150 vaccines

The Fort Stockton Independent School District held their first ever vaccine clinic on Tuesday in partnership with the National Guard.

A total of 174 students, parents, and community members received a combination of Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson shots.

Fort Stockton 12-year-old student Gisele Caballero received a Pfizer vaccine on Tuesday at the FSISD vaccine clinic.

Midland College Williams Regional Technical Training Center Law Enforcement Academy Cohort 3 Cadet Class of 2021 held a graduation ceremony on July 29. Congratulations to cadet graduates Emilio Briones, Donnie De La Cruz, Jonathan Lechuga, Adriana Rodriguez, Jessica Sherrell and Estevan Tarnez. COVID-19 active cases rise to 14 in county

Body

The COVID-19 active case total in Pecos County continued to rise yesterday as the number hit a five-month high on Tuesday according to a report provided by the county’s emergency management coordinator Jessie Dominguez.

There are currently 14 active cases in the county – the highest total since Feb. 16 (165 days ago). Of the 14 active cases, only two were vaccinated.
