The play will open Friday, Feb. 19, at 7:30 p.m. at The Nelson Street Theatre. There will be a barbecue Dinner Theatre prepared by Friends of FSCT on Saturday, Feb. 20, at 7:00 p.m. On Sunday, Feb. 21, at 2:00 p.m. there will be a matinee followed by three nights of performances on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, Feb. 22-24 at 7:30 p.m.

Reservations are required, as seating is limited for social distancing. Call Alice Duerksen at 336-3180 for reservations. Pre-paid reservations are required for Dinner Theatre; reservations may be made at Fort Stockton Chamber of Commerce. The deadline for Dinner Theatre is noon on Monday, Feb. 15. Reservations for the other performances will be taken till seats run out.

The slapstick comedy is directed by Alice Duerksen and stars, in order of appearance, Pam Palileo, Penny Smith, Michelle Salazar, Kirby Warnock, Tracy Alexander, Michele Huckaby, Oralia Hall, Dean Duerksen, Frank Lacy, and a mystery guest star. Audiences will enjoy watching Pam, Penny, and Tracy drive across the country to get to California for Tracy’s wedding because MAMA WON’T FLY!

The other cast members each play three or four different characters that the ladies encounter on their journey. J.B. Gallegos, Jarryd Hall, Oralia Hall, Dominic Leyva, Cole Mitchell, and Vicki Mitchell make it all happen behind the scenes.

It’s an evening of wacky costumes, silly jokes, and weird characters that all ages will enjoy. Plan now to attend at least one of the performances by calling 336-3180 for reservations.
