LOOKING BACK - December 1974
December 1974 … This intense Boy Scout is watching the projectile just in front of him with great caution – and with reason. It’s a raw egg. The boys are in the midst of an egg-throwing contest, one of the competitive events at last weekend’s camporee at Iraan. Object of the game is for two boys to play Catch with an egg, and each time they complete a pass with it, they have to move further apart. The winners are the last two-boy team to drop the egg or get splattered.
