APRIL 13-17

The First Presbyterian Church will be offering a number of special opportunities for worship, fellowship, and celebration next week (Holy Week). The week begins with Palm Sunday worship at 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. on April 10. Wednesday, April 13 at 6:30 p.m. the church’s annual fish fry will be held in fellowship hall. On Thursday, April 14 at 7:00 p.m. there will be an observance of Maundy Thursday Communion (open to all). Easter Sunday, April 17 will begin with the Community Ministerial Alliance Sunrise Service at 7:30 am at Zero Stone Park. Then, at the church’s location on Second Street and Oklahoma Street there will be an 8:30 a.m. worship service, an egg hunt and “Resurrection Egg Craft time at 9:45 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. worship.

Glitzy Brew in Fort Stockton will host Pictures with the Easter Bunny from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, April 14.

APRIL 16 The Lions Club in Fort Stockton will

The Lions Club in Fort Stockton will host an easter egg hunt at Rooney Park from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 16. Free hot dogs and drinks will be provided. There will be over 8,000 eggs to find.

APRIL 22

The Big Bend Open Road Race Parade will take place on Friday, April 22 from 5:30-6 p.m. on Dickinson Boulevard and Main Street in Fort Stockton.

APRIL 30

The City of Fort Stockton will host a rabies clinic from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 30. Car line-up in from W. First St. to N. North St.
