The Fort Stockton City Council and Mayor Chris Alexander paid a special tribute to Miss Fort Stockton Ysabella Sanchez via a proclamation at the group’s regular meeting on Aug. 8.

The Proclamation, which was read by Alexander at the meeting, stated: Ysabella past academic excellence, extracurricular involvement and leadership potential have earned her an impressive list of honors: Percussionist of the Fort Stockton Pantherland Band, Fort Stockton High School Cheerleader, Historian of the National Honor Society, Certified Nursing Assistant, and Recipient of the Josephine Robles Memorial Scholarship. Ysabella is an exceptionally dedicated personable and accomplished adult that will represent her community with integrity, respect, and grace.
