The Healthy Cooking School in Fort Stockton hosted the “Celebrate a World of Flavors” event at the Large Community Hall in Rooney Park on March 24. The event featured live cooking demonstrations Abigail Pritchard with the Midland County AgriLife Extension Office and Karan Heffelfinger, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Services Agent in Fort Stockton. Local vendors gathered at the event to sell goods and provide free food samples to those interested. One of the group’s founders, the late Arla Humphrey, was honored at the event with a posted/collage of pictures that was put together by Fort Stockton Insurance Owner and granddaughter Pam Palileo.
