The Fort Stockton ISD Future Farmers of America students competed at the Big Bend District Leadership Development Events on Nov. 14.

“These events focus on creating situations for members to demonstrate their abilities in public speaking, decision making, communication and their knowledge of agriculture and the FFA organization. Team and individual events are used to reinforce what is taught in agricultural science classrooms,” said Crystal Galindo, FSISD Agriculture Science Teacher. “Let’s show some support to the Fort Stockton FFA Teams.”

The Greenhand Quiz team (Michaela Davis, Andrew Black, Daniel Perez) led the way for Fort Stockton with a firstplace banner.

The Greenhand teams advanced to the Area competition this upcoming Saturday in Ira, Texas.
