The Pecos County Amateur Radio Club will be conducting a Class to earn a Technician Class License on Saturdays Starting Jan. 7, 2023, starting at 9:00 a.m. and again on Tuesday nights at 6:30 p.m. starting Jan. 19. The classes will be held at the PCARC Club House, located at the FFA/county firing range east of Fort Stockton. Jan. 10
The Prowlers basketball program will host their first district home game on Tuesday, Jan. 10. Junior varsity and the freshman team start at 4:30 p.m. The varsity is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
Jan. 14
The Pecos County Livestock Show & Dance will be held on Saturday, Jan. 14 at the Pecos County Coliseum. Two bands will play at the event.
Jan. 20
The Panther basketball program will play their first district home game on Friday, Jan. 20 against Andrews. The JV is scheduled to play at 4:30 p.m., followed by the freshman squad at 6 p.m. and the varsity at 7:30 p.m.
Jan. 28
Breakfast With The Princess will be held at the Large Community Hall in Rooney park on Saturday, Jan. 28 from 9 a.m. to noon. There will be pancakes, sausage, juice and milk provided. Nails, fashion show and crafts for children 3-8 years old will be available. The event costs $10, all proceeds support 4-H FCH. Please RSVP with Leslie Davis by Jan. 23 by calling 432-226-2541.
