Nov. 17
The Xi Zeta Lambda Sorority Auction will be held on Thursday, Nov. 17 at the FMH building next to Fort Stockton Community Theatre. The merriment begins at 6:30 p.m. and is scheduled to conclude at 9 p.m. Art, Baked Goods, and Holiday Décor will be available. Proceeds will benefit local scholarships.
Nov. 19
The Fort Stockton Chamber of Commerce invites you to their 48th Annual Arts and Crafts Fair on Saturday, Nov. 19 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Pecos County Civic Center. Come and join the fun! There will be toys and gift items for adults and children just in time for Christmas. Admission is free. Funds raised will be used to offer scholarships to students attending college.
Dec. 1-2
The Pecos County Pecos Food Show will be held at Pecos County State Bank on Thursday, Dec. 1 and Friday, Dec. 2. The event is free to enter. The grand champion will win $550 and the reserve champion will take home $400. Check out the rules for more information at the Pecos County Extension Office.
Dec. 2
The annual Fort Stockton Christmas Parade will be held on Friday, Dec. 2 starting at 6:30 p.m. Visit with Santa after the parade at the Visitor Center – 1000 Railroad Ave. Don’t forget to bring your phones/cameras for free pictures.
Dec. 2
The Fort Stockton Historical Society and Annie Riggs Museum presents Annie’s Christmas Welcome on Friday Dec. 2 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. The event will feature festive foods, music and games for kids. Be sure to get your pictures with the Grinch.
Dec. 3
Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish invites the public to Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 3 from 8:30-11 a.m. at St. Agnes Church Hall. There is no charge for the event.
Dec. 5
Family Holiday Bingo will be held at the Pecos County Civic Center from 6-7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 5. The event will be a night of family fun and a chance to win Holiday Prizes. Ten bingo games and two blackouts. Concessions will be available. Chicken and sausage gumbo, shrimp fettucine, jambalaya, nachos, popcorn, will be available. The event is put on by Pecos County 4-H.
