MARCH 16

The American Legend Post 234 invites all veterans for a meeting at the Senior Citizen Center, located at 1010 W. 14th St. in Fort Stockton, on Thursday, March 16 starting at 6:30 p.m. Free beverages and snacks will be provided. For more information contact Joni McGee at 432-290-1616.

MARCH 17

The Prowler softball hosts their first district home game of the season against Pecos on Friday, March 17. Varsity is scheduled to start at 5 p.m. and JV follows at 6:30 p.m.

MARCH 18

The Fort Stockton Film Society presents Planet of the Apes at 7 p.m., on Saturday, March 18 at Nelson Street Theatre.

MARCH 19

First United Methodist Church in Fort Stockton invites you to worship with Westward Road, Sunday, March 19 at 11 a.m.. This family travels the country spreading the good news. This is a non- denominational event, all who love God are welcome to worship with First United Methodist Church. The church is located at 1501 W. Fifth St.

MARCH 21

The First Baptist Church, located at 500 N. Texas St. will hold next week’s Lenten Luncheon on Tuesday, March 21. The event is hosted by First Baptist and First Methodist Church. All are welcome.

MARCH 23-25

The Comanche Springs Rodeo is scheduled to take place Thursday, March 23 through Friday, March 25. Tickets are now available for purchase at the Fort Stockton Chamber of Commerce, located at 1000 Railroad Ave., or online at csrodeo.com

MARCH 24

The Panther baseball team’s next home game will be on Friday, March 24 against Seminole. JV begins play at 4 p.m. and varsity is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
