Next week’s community Lenten Luncheon will be on Tuesday, March 14 from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at First Methodist Church in Fort Stockton, located at 1501 W. Fifth St. The event is hosted by First Methodist Church, First Christian Church and Faith Lutheran Church.

The Prowler softball hosts their first district home game of the season against Pecos on Friday, March 17. Varsity is scheduled to start at 5 p.m. and JV follows at 6:30 p.m.

The Comanche Springs Rodeo is scheduled to take place Thursday, March 23 through Friday, March 25. Tickets are now available for purchase at the Fort Stockton Chamber of Commerce, located at 1000 Railroad Ave., or online at csrodeo. com

The Panther baseball team’s next home game will be on Friday, March 24 against Seminole. JV begins play at 4 p.m. and varsity is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
