Feb. 17

A Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting ceremony will be held at Conteza Ready Mix, located at 2270 W. Gonzales Loop.

Feb. 23

The Fort Stockton Chamber of Commerce Banquet will be held on Thursday, Feb. 23 from 6-9 p.m. Join the chamber in recognizing their membership, as well as community volunteers. Citizen of the Year and many more awards will be presented, including Outstanding Student of the Year, Presidential Make a Difference Award, Ambassador of the Year, and Leadership Alumni of the Year. It’s an evening of good fun, good food, and good news! All tickets include admission and dinner, Individual tickets are $20. Tables for 10: $200.

Feb. 27

The Fort Stockton Film Society presents Dr. Strangelove at 7 p.m., on Saturday, Feb. 25. The movie will be free to guests.

March 7

The Lions Club and Society For Excellence in Education will host a pancake supper and open house at Fort Stockton Middle School on Tuesday, March 7 from 6-8 p.m. The supper will cost $10, dine-in or take out. The event will give people the opportunity to meet teachers at the campus and learn about the Lions Club.
