FEB. 9-12

The Texas Sheep Dog Association Sanctioned Trial Competition will take place from Thursday, Feb. 9 to Sunday, Feb. 12 at the Pecos County Gun Club, located off the south service road east of town on Interstate-10. Spectators are welcomed at the event. No vendors.

FEB. 11

The FSCT Sweetheart Dinner and Dance will be held from 7-9 p.m. at the Fort Stockton Convention Center, located at 102 S. Nelson. St. Fort Stockton Community Theatre invites you to a Sweetheart Dinner and Evening of Jazz with The Mike Kasberg Jazz Trio and featuring vocalist Julie Stovall Kasberg. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. $75 for a couple and $50 for a single.

FEB. 17

A Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting ceremony will be held at Conteza Ready Mix, located at 2270 W. Gonzales Loop.

FEB. 23

The Fort Stockton Chamber of Commerce Banquet will be held on Thursday, Feb. 23 from 6-9 p.m. Join the chamber in recognizing their membership, as well as community volunteers. Citizen of the Year and many more awards will be presented, including Outstanding Student of the Year, Presidential Make a Difference Award, Ambassador of the Year, and Leadership Alumni of the Year. It’s an evening of good fun, good food, and good news! All tickets include admission and dinner, Individual tickets are $20. Tables for 10: $200.

FEB. 27

The Fort Stockton Film Society presents Dr. Strangelove at 7 p.m., on Saturday, Feb. 25. The movie will be free to guests.
