The 11th Annual Pitchfork Ranch Appreciation Lunch once again brought together local law enforcement officers, first responders, and active community members for a day dedicated to recognizing the men and women who faithfully serve and protect our communities.

Amateur radio enthusiasts across the United States and Canada took to the airwaves this past weekend, June 27–28, for ARRL Field Day 2026, the largest annual onthe- air operating event in amateur radio. From temporary stations set up in public parks to remote backyard operations, tens of thousands of “hams” demonstrated their ability to establish independent communications networks under simulated emergency conditions.
