Spartan World Championship

Body
In 2022, Fort Stockton’s own Hector Jimenez stood among an elite group of just 2,000 athletes invited to compete in the Spartan Trifecta World Championship in Greece. Held in November across the historic and rugged terrain of ancient Sparta, the three-day event challenged athletes with increasing levels of difficulty.
Fort Stockton’s Hector Jimenez has competed in elite Spartan races worldwide, including Greece and across Texas, earning top finishes and honors. Now, despite a recent injury and financial challenges, he’s training for the 2025 Spartan World Championship in West Virginia, and hopes to bring his family, with help from local sponsors.
