The Pecos County Commissioners Court held its regular session on Monday, January 27, at the County Courthouse in Fort Stockton. Presided over by County Judge Joe Shuster, the meeting addressed a wide range of agenda items, including appointments, infrastructure improvements, and community support initiatives.

Stolen Copper Recovered in Collaborative Effort

The Pecos County Sheriff’s Office successfully recovered a stolen load of copper valued at approximately $175,000, following a coordinated effort with the Fort Stockton Police Department. The operation culminated in the apprehension of the suspect and the impoundment of the stolen vehicle.
