City investing $1 million in Gene Cummings Park improvements
The Economic Development Corporation and City of Fort Stockton have made a commitment to upgrade all city parks, and both have been working on upgrades to Gene Cummings Park for more than a year.

The Pecos Conty Commissioners Court on Nov. 13 voted to enter an interlocal agreement with Lubbock County through the Regional Public Defender for Capital Cases.

The Fort Stockton City Council took steps to upgrade the Fort Stockton Police Department dispatch center at its Nov. 13 meeting, awarding a bid to Tri-Star Communications to install two new dispatch consoles.

Chamber Arts and Crafts Show a success
The 49th Annual Arts & Crafts Show, sponsored by the Fort Stockton Chamber of Commerce, saw a great turn-out on Saturday and had something for everyone. Admission was free and the Chamber had both free and paid door prizes.
