Garcia breaks middle school swim record

The Fort Stockton Middle School Blue Wave swimmers kicked off their season in big way this past weekend, sending 32 swimmers to Pecos. “All swimmers performed excellently in their respective events,” coach Lilly Forst said.
City applies for USDA grant

Fort Stockton’s city council on Feb. 27 approved Resolution 23-106R, which authorizes the city to apply for a grant for assistance under the rules and regulations of Rural Utilities Service from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Comanche campus to be demolished in next 4 months

Fort Stockton Independent School District’s longest standing campus will soon be demolished following a decision made by the school board on Monday. The Fort Stockton ISD School Board unanimously approved a demolition bid from West Texas Contractors, in the amount of $332,750 on Feb.
