Summer is here and so are the hot temperatures. Triple digits are expected to be with us all week. Summer is a time of hard work and high temperatures. That’s why it’s important for children, workers, farmers, and ranchers to know the signs of heat stress and exhaustion. What is signs of heat stroke, heat over exposure, or just being in the sun too long?

The nine and under Fort Stockton Trash Pandas travelled to The Tall City this past weekend to compete in the 10U King of the Desert USSSA tournament and came home undefeated with a record of 6-0, earning a Championship in the gold bracket. Toastmasters induct new members

Toastmasters inducted two new members to their club in April. Toastmasters was happy to welcome Judge Ruben D. Salinas and Joni McGee. Joining Toastmasters can help you achieve your personal and professional goals. Toastmasters can help you improve your leadership skills, meet professional goals, improve presentation skills, become a more effective speaker and network with others or build social connections! Toastmasters meet on the second and fourth Fridays at noon for one hour, at the public library with lunch provided. The next meetings are scheduled for June 10 and 24, 2022. On May 13, Mario Perales led Midland College’s graduation procession. Perales is a veteran student who completed his Bachelor of Applied Technology and graduated with honors, Magna Cum Laude, Phi Theta, Kappa, and Sigma Kappa Delta.
