Running a theatre has long been aspiration for the Barragan family.
Growing up, Collette Barragan and her son Tristian Barragan were passionate moviegoers that fully supported Stockton Entertainment’s theatre when it was in operation four-plus years ago.
Olga Gaboriault passed away in her home the morning of Dec. 18, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 14, 1930, to Ignacio and Ofilia Nanez of San Buena Ventura Coahuila, Mexico. Olga was one of eight siblings. She outlived all, and will now join them in heaven.
Olga was married to her loving husband Marcel Adrian Gaboriault for 62 years. She met him in Del Rio, Texas, and moved to Hardwick, Vt., for a few years. They then lived in Fort Stockton, Texas, for over 50 years.
Fort Stockton’s junior varsity basketball team was able to measure themselves against varsity competition this past week at the Van Horn Tournament.
The Panthers finished in fourth place as a team after accumulating a 1-2 record.
Zane Hodges earned all-tournament team honors at the three-day event, leading the Panthers in scoring in two of their three outings with 11.3 points per game.
