Prowler track runs in Levelland

The Prowlers competed at the Levelland Relays on Friday March 22. The girls competed well, and we are looking forward to the District Meet in Fort Stockton on April 2 and 4.

Panther varsity boys second in Levelland

The Fort Stockton High School varsity Panther track team placed second out of eight Teams at the Levelland Relays. They scored 108 points losing by six points. The Panthers continue to improve as they prepare for the District Meet April 2 and 4 here in Fort Stockton.

Prowlers grab first district softball win

The Fort was the site for the first district contest between the Prowlers and the Greenwood Rangerettes. Despite some great defensive plays, the Prowlers fell 4-0 to open up district play. Gabby Madrid pitched seven innings giving up nine hits and only four runs.

.The Fort Stockton High School Prowler Varsity golf team came home as champions from the Alpine Invitational on Monday. Bailey Roberts, Kaelynn Calderon, Evelynn Baiza, and Valeria Marquez all delivered their personal best performances of the season.

Hernandez is state powerlifting champion

.The Prowlers had an amazing Spring Break at the THSWPA State Meet. finishing with two podium spots. Jasmin Hernandez was crowned the state champ in the 97-pound weight class with a 635-pound total. Belle Urbano finished in fifth place in the 114-pund weight class with a 745-pound total.

As a team, Fort Stockton finished sixth out of 26 schools participating. “We’re proud of these young ladies and all the hard work they put in throughout the season,” said coach Ivan Pena.

The Fort Stockton High School track team competed in the Sandhills Relays in Monahans last Friday, with many athletes setting personal records. The Prowlers finished fourth in the team standings with 84 points.
