Jerry Leon Gallemore, 81, of Fort Stockton, passed away in his sleep at his home with family nearby on July 14. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5 - 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 25 at Eternity Funeral Home, 600 E. Dickinson, Fort Stockton.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 26 at First Baptist Church Fort Stockton with Bro. Gary Dunn officiating. A burial will follow at East Hill Cemetery in Fort Stockton. Arrangements are entrusted to Eternity Funeral Home.

Jerry was born to George (Sparky) and Bonnie Gallemore on December 20, 1942, in San Angelo. The family moved to Fort Stockton while Jerry was in grade school. He married Jeanne Crane on April 28, 1962, and was blessed with two children. Jerry worked in the oilfield most of his life, including time as an independent pumper with his own company, WellNow, before retiring fully to care for his wife. He will be remembered as a faithful servant of Jesus Christ, a loving and supportive father, grandfather, and husband as well as an avid golfer.

by his parents and his wife of 58 years, Jeanne. He is survived by his son, Myles Wade Gallemore and wife Marla of Irving, daughter Susann Inlow and husband Robert of Fort Stockton, brother George Gallemore of Lubbock, sister Debbie Beard and husband Carroll of Del Rio, sister June Cagle and husband Butch of Oakland, Arkansas, along with 9 grandchildren: Dustin Gallemore (Lindsay), Jarryd Hall (Oralia), Jena Hillis (Parker), Justus Hall, Joy (Billy Wayne) Shuttleworth, Seth Hall, Sayde Hall, Silas Hall, and Titus Hall.

Pallbearers will be Jerry’s grandsons and grandsonsin- law. Memorials may be made to the Fort Stockton Junior Golf Association.
