Aida Armendariz Longoria passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2026, in Midland, Texas. Aida was born March 10, 1962, in Ojinaga, Chihuahua Mexico to Miguel Armendariz Leyva and Guadalupe Guevara Carrasco. She married Rafael G. Longoria in Ft. Stockton, Texas on April 21, 1987. For 18 years, Aida proudly owned and operated Tacos OJ, pouring her heart, passion, and hard work into the business she built. Her talent and dedication earned her restaurant, recognition in prominent publications, including Texas Monthly and other respected magazines. Tacos OJ became more than a restaurant, it was a reflection of her love for food, family, and community, bringing people together and leaving a lasting legacy that will continue to be remembered for years to come. Aida was preceded in death by both her parents Miguel and Gaudalupe Armendariz, and brother Alfonso Armendariz. She is survived by spouse Rafael G. Longoria, daughter Norma (Mario) Garcia, daughter Viviana (Ivan) Dominguez, son Rafael Longoria III, brothers Francisco G. Armendariz, Javier G. Armendariz, Oscar G. Armendariz, sister Lidia Acosta as well as grandchildren: Jacinda Falcon, Juan Falcon, Jonathan Falcon, Octavio Hernandez, Giuliana Gabello, Everly Dominguez, Aven Dominguez, Adalyn Dominguez, Genesis Fabela and Ray Longoria. Pallbearers will be Juan Falcon, Jonathan Falcon, Octavio Hernandez, Rafael Longoria III, and Adrian Acosta, Jorge Luis Acosta Jr. Visitation will be held at Willowbrook Funeral Home, 1311 W. Florida, Midland, TX, on Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 9:00am-8:00pm with a rosary beginning at 7:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 9, 2026, at 2:00pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1401 Garden Lane, Midland, TX. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park, 4616 N. Big Spring St. Midland, TX. The family of Aida Longoria wishes to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who loved, supported, and cared for her and our family throughout her life. Your prayers, kindness, compassion, and presence brought us comfort and strength during this difficult time. We are deeply thankful for each of you and for the meaningful ways you touched Aida’s life and ours.
