With a heavy heart we report that our beloved father, H.T. Morgan, passed away on Dec. 24, 2022. H.T. was born on March 17, 1931.
He served in the Air Force in his early years where his travels took him to the Middle East and other countries. For most of his life he was a car salesman in Fort Stockton and the West Texas area until he retired in 2005.
Randy “Red” Wayne Pogue went to be with his Lord and Savior Dec. 13, 2022, in Monahans following a hard fought battle with cancer. He was born in Monahans, Texas to parents J.B. and Barbara Pogue on Sept. 18, 1956. He graduated from Fort Stockton High School in 1975. He was a lifelong resident of Odessa, Texas.
Robert “Bob” Henderson Robertson gained his heavenly wings at the tender age of 76 on December 31, 2022, at his home in Fort Stockton, Texas. A visitation was held January 3, 2023, at Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend, 301 N Main Fort Stockton, Texas from 1-7 p.m. Cremation will follow per his wishes.
Cruz Rodriguez Jr., 62, of Fort Stockton TX, passed away on Dec. 14, 2022. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Dec. 20th, 2022, with Pastor Scott Owens of Northside Church, officiating. Burial followed at East Hill Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Eternity Funeral Home.
Cruz Rodriguez Jr. was preceded in death by, his father Cruz Rodriguez Sr., and Mother Odilia De La Rosa Rodriguez of Fort Stockton.
Maria Sanchez Molinar, 81, of Fort Stockton, Texas was called home to our Heavenly Father on Dec. 7, 2022. Maria was born Sept. 9, 1941, in Boquillas del Carmen, Coahuila, Mexico, to Juan and Josefa Sanchez.
Roslyn K. McIntyre, 81, of Fort Stockton, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2022.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Dec. 14, from 10:00 a.m. to noon at Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at East Hill Cemetery in Fort Stockton.
Longtime Texas resident, James Otis Faubion, obtained his eternal reward Monday, Nov. 29, 2022. He passed peacefully from this life at home in San Antonio, Texas surrounded by his faithful and loving wife, Brenda, and family.
Otilia “Tillie” Franco Nunez, 85, of Fort Stockton, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family after a devastating battle to breast cancer on Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2022.
Otilia, “Tillie”, “Mrs. David Nunez”, “Vieja”, “Mom”, “Jefa”, “Mama”, “Momo”, “Tia”, “Sister”, “Grandma Nunez” was known by so many names, but our favorite name for her was “MOM”.
John Thore Meli, 88, of Fort Stockton, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2022, in Fort Stockton, Texas.
