The November 4 Election Day is quickly approaching as early voting comes to a close, 620 voters of the 8,255 registered voters in Pecos County turned out for early voting. The Middle Pecos Groundwater Conservation District (MPGCD) Board of Directors approved a resolution Tuesday, October 21, to seek major amendments to the state’s designated brackish groundwater production zones in the Rustler aquifer. The vote passed despite one director voting in opposition.
