Historic Fort Stockton Buildings

Last week, historic downtown Fort Stockton became the muse for several students of architecture visiting from Texas A&M University. Invited by Jose and Joan Quintana, the president and managing partner respectively of AdventGX, the students toured several of the oldest buildings in town, namely the Springhirst Hotel on Main Street.

It is a much talked about subject today and many people are very concerned if they will be able to retire and what kind of retirement they will have. One question is will they have enough money to retire, and another is where they will retire and what kind of home will they live in. It is a good thing to plan for the future and not to just live for today. Thinking about these things reminds me of something in the Bible.

Prowlers Basketball Battles Tough Opponents

The Fort Stockton Prowlers Varsity Basketball Team faced a challenging week as they took on two strong district opponents. Despite their efforts, the Prowlers came up short in both contests, falling to the Andrews Lady Mustangs on January 14 at home and the Greenwood Rangers on January 17 in Greenwood.

Fort Stockton Blue Wave Secures Spots at Regional Swim Meet

The Fort Stockton Blue Wave Swim Team made waves at the District 2-4A Championship in Monahans on January 18, delivering strong results and securing a place at the upcoming Regional Meet. Under the guidance of Coach Lily Forst, the team demonstrated impressive growth and resilience, earning top spots in several events while also securing important alternate positions.
