Darren Hodges and his mother Vida Hodges were recognized at Monday’s city council meeting for their $1 million donation for the additions and renovations of the Fort Stockton Convention Center patio. The first donation of $500,000 was officially given to the city at the meeting. The Fort Stockton City Council proceeded to approve the naming of the patio as the “Hodges Pavilion.” City council then approved the solicitation of request for proposals for the construction of two restrooms (patio and main hall) at the Fort Stockton Convention Center.
