City Council observes HAM Radio Week and National Baseball Day

The Fort Stockton City Council held its regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, June 24. First and foremost, at this meeting, the council welcomed the local HAM radio operators club forward to receive recognition and a plaque for the service they provide to the community, especially in cases of emergency.

The Pecos County Commissioners Court held its regularly scheduled meeting on Monday morning at 10 a.m., June 24. During this meeting, the court approved the future installation of the Alamo Letter Society’s plaque with the “Victory or Death” letter by William Barret Travis.
