Big Ed’s Boot & Shoe Repair, keeping it old school

Body
He doesn’t have many reviews on Google, but this is at the top: “Love the work he does awesome and humble and his help as well.” Quote. Probably typed out on a mobile phone, but it’s pretty darn accurate. And reviews are important to a business. As an example of the power of reviews, if you Google “coffee in fort stockton” coming in from El Paso on your mobile device, you’re going to wind up at the best reviewed coffee shop, unless you’re in a hurry. Members present included Rosalie Sullivan, Ross Harper, Penny Smith, Molly Yeager, Darren Hodges, and Victor Gene Robbins. Also present were library staff Elva Valadez and Sarah Pacheco. Guests included Diana Mesa, Donna Measday-Bryant, Angie Miles, and Elsa Ramos. Being the first meeting in quite a while, there were no revious minutes to approve. The board then voted on the election of officers, following a seconded motion by Hodges to keep the same board members from the previous board and elect a new treasurer. Officers are Rosalie Sullivan, President; Ross Harper, Vice President; Jim Hatcher, Secretary; Darren Hodges, Treasurer.
