The Comanche Springs Rodeo is scheduled to take place Thursday, March 23 through Friday, March 25. Tickets are now available for purchase at the Fort Stockton Chamber of Commerce, located at 1000 Railroad Ave., or online at csrodeo.com.
March 24
The Panther baseball team’s next home game will be on Friday, March 24 against Seminole. JV begins play at 4 p.m. and varsity is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
March 28
The next community Lenten Luncheon will be held on March 28 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, located at 4094 N Highway 18, starting at 11:45 a.m. The event is hosted by Our Lady of Guadalupe Paris.
March 28
The Fort Stockton softball team will play their next home game on Tuesday, March 28 against Andrews. Varsity starts at 5 p.m. JV is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
April 1
Fort Stockton Community Theatre Presents Singin’ Fools Karaoke on Saturday, April 1 Kerry Winters will be the Karaoke DJ. $10 admission for the event, bring your dollars to vote for your favorite singer.
April 19-22
The Big Bend Open Road Race and the weeklong festivities surrounding the event will begin on Wednesday, April 19 and end on Saturday, April 22 with the race. The BBORR Parade is scheduled for Friday, April 21.
April 22-23
The Miss Rodeo Comanche Springs Horsemanship Clinic will be held at the Pecos County Coliseum on Saturday, April 22 and Sunday, April 23. The clinic fee is $50, limited sports available. Shaun Strickland will be leading the clinic.
