Fort Stockton GED graduates honored through Midland college program

Eleven Fort Stockton residents were recognized this spring for earning their GED certificates through the Midland College Williams Regional Technical Training Center (WRTTC). The graduates completed the program offered at the WRTTC, which provides GED and adult education services designed to help students develop foundational academic skills and prepare for future educational or career opportunities.

Blanco announces significant funding for Sul Ross

Last Wednesday, May 28, Senator César J. Blanco announced that Sul Ross State University will receive more than $13 million in new state funding. The investment in the university will aid in adding workforce to the region as well as strengthening conservation efforts across the Trans-Pecos and Big Bend areas.
