You have also received acceptances to technical schools, colleges, and universities, while others have chosen the honorable path of military service—each of you stepping boldly into your future.

The Sweet Old Couple

Body
They are elderly and have very little money. Both have a number of health problems but despite this they always seem to have a good attitude and talk about trusting in God. I love to visit with them, and they tell me they pray together every morning asking for God’s care and every evening thanking Him for His watching over them. The Bible talks a lot about God’s care for us and the word used is Loving- kindness. The Bible says we can approach God only because He loves and cares for us, (Psalm 5:7, 23:6). God will forgive our sins if we ask Him, (confess), and put our trust in Jesus Christ and what He did upon the cross, (1 John 1:9&10, John 3:16). Two of the greatest things in this life is to have our sins forgiven and a new relationship with God. (Psalm 25:7, 51:1, 59:16). The Bible says God’s love is everywhere no matter where you go, (Psalm 33:5, 36:5). We are also encouraged to never give up trusting in Him, (Psalm 52:8&9). God’s help and watching over us is better than life itself, (Psalm 63:3&4). Sadly, to say many will not ask Jesus into their life or trust in God and it will cost them in this life but so much more in the life to come, (Psalm 32:10). Those who trust in God will have their life satisfied with many good things, (Psalm 90:14).
