The Fort Stockton High School Golf program had another dominant showing this past weekend, with both the Prowlers and Panthers taking home first-place team finishes at the Fort Stockton Invitational. The two-day tournament, held at the Fort Stockton Municipal Golf Course on Feb.

The Fort Stockton High School powerlifting teams continue to show their strength and determination, earning top placements at recent meets and securing numerous regional qualifications. The Panthers and Prowlers competed in Andrews on January 25 and in Greenwood on February 15, demonstrating impressive progress and resilience.

Strong Tournament Performance The Fort Stockton Prowlers softball team has begun their 2025 season with a mix of challenges and triumphs, showing resilience and improvement with each game. Under the leadership of Coach Manny Espino, the Prowlers are already making a name for themselves on the field.

The Fort Stockton Panthers put on a commanding performance against the Monahans Loboes on Tuesday night, securing a 64-39 victory on the road. The win marked a significant turnaround for the Panthers, who had struggled against Monahans in recent years, holding a 1-8 record in their last nine matchups before this decisive win.

Last week a photo printed on the sports page misnamed one of the people pictured. Tennis player Alizaundra Guerrero appeared on page six along with Yaneily Mata after their team’s first tournament of the Spring season.

The Fort Stockton Panther Tennis Team hit the courts on Thursday, February 13, competing in the Concho Invitational in San Angelo. Facing off against a challenging field that included teams from 3A to 6A programs such as Abilene Wylie, San Angelo Central, Wall, and Ingram Moore, the Panthers showcased their determination and resilience throughout the tournament.

The Fort Stockton Panthers baseball team has kicked off the 2025 season with an impressive series of scrimmages, setting the tone for what promises to be an exciting campaign. Under the leadership of Coach Jason Payne, the Panthers have shown dominance on both sides of the ball, displaying solid defense, strong pitching, and explosive offense.
